The program, launched with BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Sara Assicurazioni, Cerved Group and Payback, is part of the Open Innovation initiatives of LVenture Group and LUISS ENLABS, which have already generated a total of 15 projects, of which 8 have raised over 1 million Euros of investments in less than 6 months

LVenture Group and LUISS ENLABS launch the startup program AI WorkLab, dedicated to the sector of Artificial Intelligence in partnership with BNL Gruppo BNP Paribas, Sara Assicurazioni, Cerved Group, and Payback .

The term artificial intelligence was first used on August 31s, 1955. Exactly 62 years later, the call for the AI WorkLab opens. The program is dedicated to this sector, a growing market that, according to estimates, will reach a value of over 59.8 billion Dollars by 2025.

The development of AI will allow human progress to reach exponential growth rates never seen before. For companies, it offers great opportunities for value creation. At the same time, in a competitive scenario, it presents great challenges. Participating in a program like AI WorkLab, studying this industry and pragmatically applying AI in different areas, is therefore an unmissable opportunity to keep pace with the times. The program will be dedicated specifically to startups using artificial intelligence to develop solutions in the areas of InsurTech, Document & Data Management, Customer Behaviour and Cybersecurity.

AI WorkLab is part of the Open Innovation initiatives that LVenture Group organizes to create mutually beneficial connections between startups and large companies. “We have great expectations for this program, involving companies like BNL BNP Paribas, our long-term partner, Sara Assicurazioni, strategic partner of LVenture Group and LUISS ENLABS since this year, plus other value-adding realities such as Cerved and Payback” said Augusto Coppola, Managing Director of the Acceleration Programs of LVenture Group and LUISS ENLABS “LVenture Group and LUISS ENLABS, which have so far contributed to the birth of over 45, have already organized successful programs off this kind, such as Security Challenge and Android Factory 4.0, which generated a total of 15 projects, of which 5 were funded by LVenture Group and 3 by other investors, collecting over 1 million Euros  in less than 6 months. “

The call to participate in the program is open to startups and individual talents until November 30th, 2017. 10 selected teams will receive a grant of 2,500 euros (equity free) and in January they will begin a 3-month program aimed at launching their business ideas and testing them on the market with the support of experts from LUISS ENLABS and the partner companies.

For more information about the program and the call, a launch event will be held on September 25th in Rome, at LUISS ENLABS, and roadshow events with the possibility of presenting ideas and receiving feedback  will be held in October and November in Rome, Turin, Pisa, Trento and Naples.
