{"id":8393,"date":"2021-01-12T16:48:36","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T15:48:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lventuregroup.com\/InvestorRelations\/magazineen\/?p=541"},"modified":"2022-09-02T15:03:32","modified_gmt":"2022-09-02T13:03:32","slug":"fitprime-increases-its-capital-with-2-5-million-euros-vertis-sgr-joins-as-new-investor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lventuregroup.com\/en\/fitprime-increases-its-capital-with-2-5-million-euros-vertis-sgr-joins-as-new-investor\/","title":{"rendered":"Fitprime increases its capital with 2.5 million euros  Vertis SGR joins as new investor"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p><strong>Fitprime<\/strong>, a digital platform that allows everyone to keep fit both in the gym and at home, has just announced it closed a capital increase of 2.5-million-euros. <strong>Vertis SGR<\/strong>, as lead investor, joined the operation through the funds &#8220;<em>Vertis Venture 2 Scaleup<\/em>&#8221; and &#8220;<em>Vertis Venture 4 Scaleup Lazio<\/em>&#8220;, along with the previous shareholders, <strong>LVenture Group<\/strong>,<strong> Italian Angels for Growth <\/strong>(<strong>IAG<\/strong>) and<strong> Club degli Investitori<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Fitprime was founded in 2016, thanks to <strong>LUISS\r\nEnLabs,<\/strong> the Acceleration Program of <strong>LVenture Group<\/strong>, and since then\r\nit has been quickly escalating the fitness market, becoming a reference point\r\nand the easiest wayto access thousands of sports centers all over Italy,\r\njust with a monthly subscription and without any restrictions. In 2018 Fitprime\r\nlaunched a platform entirely dedicated to <em>Corporate Wellness<\/em> that allows\r\ncompanies to promote the well-being of their employees by focusing on\r\nnutrition, physical and mental health.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>While sports centers closed down in order to\r\ncontain the spread of infections from Covid-19, Fitprime took the chance to\r\ncreate an additional business line in record time. As a matter of fact, it launched\r\nFitprime TV, a new platform totally dedicated to home workouts, with thousands\r\nof on-demand and live lessons by the best trainers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Thanks to this new round of investment,\r\nFitprime team intends to keep growing on the Italian market, reaching over\r\n3,500 sports centers for new partnerships, while growing its Corporate solution\r\nand promoting Fitprime TV, starting its process of internationalization.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Matteo Musa, CEO <\/strong>and\r\n<strong>co-founder of Fitprime<\/strong>, said<em>: \u201cThe way we think about\r\nwellness is a constant challenge to revolutionize it: that\u2019s why we founded\r\nFitprime.
