Confirmo, the app that digitizes the processes related to the informed consent of a document to be signed, has closed a new investment round of 445,000 euros in which CDP Venture Capital Sgr participated, through the dual intervention of the Accelerators Fund and Fondo Italia Venture II – Fondo Imprese Sud, for a total investment of €300,000, LVenture Group, NextUp and business angels.
Developed by young professionals who are experts in the field of digital technologies and accelerated by LUISS EnLabs, the Acceleration Program of LVenture Group, Confirmo informs the user who has to sign a complex document – from informed consents in the health sector or for the treatment of personal data, to contracts and documents in the banking and insurance sector – in an interactive way and assisting him during the process of acquiring information.
The app provides information to users who have to sign a document, certifying that they understand it. Confirmo analyzes the user’s answers, certifying that the user has actually understood what was communicated. At the end of the procedure, Confirmo generates the file of the signed document reporting also the results of the learning test. The document is signed with an advanced electronic signature (FEA) or a qualified electronic signature (FEQ), according to European and Italian regulations, and stored in a cloud infrastructure for legally binding electronic storage that guarantees maximum data security.
The startup to date has delivered over 60,000 successfully signed documents, with 98% positive feedback and no user complaints. The service is used by public and private organizations including IFO in Rome, Fondazione Poliambulanza in Brescia and Novartis.
