LVenture Group is confirmed as one of the best investors in Europe: this is what emerges from the latest report by i5invest.
With 29 investments made in 2020, LVenture Group is the most active venture capital firm in Italy and the fifth in Southern Europe, confirming a constant growth trend, already demonstrated by its presence in FT 1000, the Financial Times‘ annual report on the 1000 European companies with the highest turnover growth in the three-year period 2015-2018, and in Leader della Crescita 2021, Il Sole 24 Ore‘s ranking of Italian companies with the greatest increase in revenues in the last three years.
London calling… for investments! The UK is the leading player in the European venture capital scene. i5invest’s analysis shows that the €10 billion invested in startups in 2020 is unrivalled on the Old Continent, surpassing the aggregate total of investments made in France and Germany.
The DACH Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) saw the largest number of new investment funds open. Among the newcomers were the A/O fund, which focuses on propotech, Heal Capital, which is oriented towards healthtech, and Future Energy Ventures, which specialises in sustainability and greentech.
