Le disuguaglianze di genere hanno oggi forti ripercussioni sulle opportunità degli individui e, conseguentemente, limitano la crescita economica del Paese. Per questo, il PNRR affianca, ai tre assi strategici condivisi a livello europeo (digitalizzazione e innovazione, transizione ecologica e inclusione sociale), tre priorità trasversali, tra cui proprio quella di promuovere la parità di genere.
