The new call of LUISS EnLabs, the Acceleration Program of LVenture Group, born from a joint venture with Luiss University and supported by partners BNL Group BNP Paribas, Accenture and Sara Assicurazioni, is now underway.
Early stage startups with innovative solutions that intercept the new trends of the digital “new normal” can apply directly online until April 16. Selection to the Program will allow access to a pre-seed investment of up to 160,000 euros by LVenture Group and a 5-month growth path with a tight planning according to the scrum methodology, to refine the business model and make it scalable.
Thanks to the partnership with Lazio Innova, startups ready to operate in the territory of the Lazio Region will be able to receive an investment of up to 200 thousand euros.
Guaranteeing the success of the startups participating in the Program is the track record of over 100 investments by LVenture Group, a Venture Capital holding company listed on the Stock Exchange, recognized by the European Capital Report 2021 by i5invest and Vienna University of Business and Economics as one of the most active investors in Southern Europe and the most active Italian investor. In 2020 alone, LVenture Group’s startups raised €23 million, of which €3 million was invested directly by the company and €20 million by co-investors.
“We are ready to select all digital startups with the ambition to scale quickly on the market, supporting them at 360 degrees, from the MVP up to the first seed round with a methodology validated by the results: 50% of the startups that in 2020 have successfully concluded the Acceleration Program have already closed a new investment round, with an average ticket of more than 350 thousand euros,” says Giulio Montoli, Head of Acceleration at LVenture Group.
Among the startups launched by LVenture Group’s Acceleration Program there are now some of the most promising digital companies on the Italian innovation scene, such as 2hire, a startup that has devised a technology capable of connecting all vehicles, now present internationally in 9 countries, with a funding of over 6 million euros: “We participated in the 10th edition of the Acceleration Program and they were 5 key months for the growth of our team. We learned what it means to work for goals, both short and long term, and how every idea must be validated with facts and especially with numbers. We understood how much hard work and study are necessary to undertake an entrepreneurial path and how fundamental it is to receive feedback from those who have already done (successfully) this kind of experience“, says Filippo Agostino, CEO of 2hire.
A path in the sign of entrepreneurial transformation also for Filo, the Italian startup leader in tracking devices and IoT Baby with Filo Tag and Tata Pad, among the first in the world to use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology: “Transformation. Being entrepreneurs requires it and LUISS EnLabs has been the perfect partner to start our path of change. From ambitious and capable people to attentive and disciplined entrepreneurs: being part of the Acceleration Program allowed us to learn all the tools necessary to transform our idea into a company with more than 20 employees”, declare Giorgio Sadolfo, Andrea Gattini, Lapo Ceccherelli and Stefania De Roberto, Co-founders of Filo.
Entrepreneurial methodology and capital for the growth of startups, as can be confirmed by the team of Shampora, a startup in the beauty sector that creates hyper-personalized hair products present in Italy, Spain and France and ready to land in Germany and the UK: “We have made the most of the Acceleration Program by storing all the information and putting it into practice day-by-day. Just a few days after Demo Day we raised our first seed round and, two years later, a new €3 million round. The Acceleration team is super-prepared and complete, the program is useful for both first-time and experienced founders. A crucial advantage: the possibility to receive a direct investment from LVenture Group in all subsequent steps“, says Manuel Corona, CEO of Shampora.
Startups that access the Program will be able to take advantage of “Tech Perks” for digital services, with access to facilities and credits worth 2 million euros, with Partners such as Amazon Web Services, OVHcloud, Hubspot and Stripe. The path includes more than 30 hours of workshops, articulated in 17 vertical seminars: from metrics to KPIs, from communication to marketing, from accounting to legal aspects, in addition to constant mentoring by LVenture Group’s acceleration team and weekly one-to-ones with UX/UI, Tech and Marketing Managers.
Startups will also be able to confront with a network of Advisors, CEOs of European scaleups, entrepreneurs and managers of the LVenture Group ecosystem, ready to commit also financially. A large network of alumni, founders of startups who participated in a previous edition of the Program, will provide their experience to accelerate the chances of success. Applications for the new edition of LUISS EnLabs must be submitted online by accessing accelerationluissenlabs.com. It will also be possible to book one-on-one calls with the LVenture Group acceleration team for information and clarification of the selection process.
